Claudia Darlene Graves

Claudia Darlene Graves, 76, of Josephine, Texas passed away January 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 4, 1947, in Van Zandt County to Ovilee and Bonnie Ella (Woodrum) Morgan.

Darlene graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas, Texas. She was a free spirit who enjoyed crafting, art and painting. Darlene made treasured ceramics for her family and enjoyed making wreaths for all holidays. She had a fun hobby of collecting light bulbs and bowling balls from auctions to decorate and use in her beautiful art projects. Darlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and adored canine friends.

Darlene is survived by her cherished family: son, Gregory Graves and wife, Stephanie; daughters: Amanda Graves, Claudia McLure; grandchildren: Hattie, Taylor, Destiny, Hailey, Brittany, Heather, Jacob, Zachary; 4 great grandchildren; Uncle Clifford Woodrum; cousins: Judy Woodrum, Sue Woodrum, Bill Woodrum, Jimmy Woodrum; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ovilee and Bonnie; and brother, Herbert Morgan.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for Claudia at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Round Flat Pentecostal Church in Fruitvale, Texas with Bro. Homer Morgan officiating. Lunch will be provided prior to the service at 11:30am.
