Bob passed away June 1, 2020 in Grand Saline, TX.
He was born November 28, 1937 in Henderson County, TX to Claud Hendley & Ruby Stewart Hendley.
Bob grew up the Walton Community before moving to Waxahachie, where he graduated high school. He received his Bachelor's Degree from BMA Seminary in Jacksonville. Bob started preaching at the age of 14 and spent over 65 years as a Pastor. He traveled 24 years with his sidekick Amos Matthews as an Evangelist. Bob earned a Bachelor of Theology from North American Theological Seminary, Master of Theology from International Baptist College, Doctor of Ministries from International Baptist College, Doctor of Education in Religion from Landmark Baptist Theological Seminary, Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling Psychology from Carolina University (PHD). Bob was also a Biblical Christian Counselor and Temperament Therapist.
He is survived by his Wife, Judy Hendley; Daughter, Brenda Long; Son, Bobby Hendley Jr.; Son, Ben & Jill Hendley; Son, Brian & Becky Hendley; 11 Grandchildren; 2 Great-Grandchildren; and Sister, Dorothy "Dot" Duncan.
Bob is preceded in death by his Parents, Claud & Ruby Hendley; Sister, Jean Watson; Brother, Joe Don Hendley; and Brother, Jim Hendley.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Meredith Campground Cemetery, Walton Community, in Henderson County, TX.
