

Crescencio passed away peacefully on February 25, 2022 in Canton, Texas. He was born in Los Rodriquez Mexico on August 22, 1956 to Melquiades Alvarez Estrella and Carmen Enedina Cervantes Molina.
Crescencio came to the United States when he was 14 years old, and lived in the Tyler area. He worked in construction doing concrete construction and later became a heavy equipment operator. Crescencio was involved in the building of many bridges and overpasses in the Dallas area. He was very proud to have been involved in the building of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas. In his free time, he enjoyed working in his yard and working on his truck, “Baby Blue” which he took great pride in. Crescencio was a man who was always neatly dressed, ironed and starched, always putting his best forward.
Crescencio loved going and visiting family. His family was the most important thing to him. A day with family was the best day. He will live on the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved him.

Crescencio is survived by his daughters, Tracy Alvarez (Casey Melton) and Mary Davis (Chad McKibben); grandchildren, Caitlyn Melton, Samatha Nelson, Veronica Nelson, Miaya McKibben; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Alex and Aria; mother, Carmen Cervantes Molina; brothers, Ruben Alvarez Cervantes and Rene Alvarez Cervantes; sisters, Cristina Alvarez Cervantes, Catalina Alvarez Cervantes and Raquel Alvarez Cervantes; numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Melquiades Alvarez Estrella.
