Services for Darlene Elizabeth McGill, 81, will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton with Bro. Mike Middlebrooks officiating. Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park.
Mrs. McGill passed away November 27, 2025 in Mount Pleasant, TX. She was born September 15, 1944 in Dallas to Spencer and Huleen Brooks Whitton.
Darlene loved attending the Whitton Church of Christ as a child and throughout her life. She enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors. She loved spending time with her family. Darlene enjoyed the simple things in life. She was very empathetic and concerned for others. She wanted everyone to feel welcome and at home when they visited her.
Mrs. McGill is preceded in death by her parents, Spencer and Huleen Whitton; husband, David McGill; and two sisters: Marie Baker and Elaine Brantley.
Darlene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Travis Rowe; two granddaughters: Abbie Earp and her husband, Cullen, and Elleah Rowe and her fiancé, Andrew Przyborowski; one great-grandbaby on the way, Caroline Earp; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
