Mr. Duke passed away December 1, 2016 in Dallas. He was born December 10, 1949 in Dallas to Francis Simpson "Sim" Duke and Boyce Ethel Smithart Duke.
David was a Baptist by faith. He graduated from Edgewood High School. He lived many places in Texas. David enjoyed writing and was a hobbyist and inventor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Sean Duke.
David is survived by two sons: Mark Duke of Grand Saline and Jeremy Duke of Wills Point; a daughter, Bethany Duke of Ithaca, New York; 5 grandchildren; brother, Jerry Duke of Allen, TX; and 4 sisters: Marilyn Parker of Midlothian, Linda Partridge of Duncanville, Patricia Burroughs of Duncanville and Joyce Porterfield of Pampa.
