Deborah Sue Mullins

Deborah Sue Mullins, 71, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2025 in Wills Point, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas on September 17, 1953 to Charles Marcus Tunnell and Patricia Jean Tunnell.

Deborah was a senior purchaser for first Gibsons, then vice president for M&S Systems, and later Boeing. She worked tirelessly for decades, until her retirement to be closer to home, family, and friends. During this time, she met and married her husband, Gary Mullins, whom she journeyed with through life & marriage for 49 years.

She was a voracious reader. Lover of sweets, board games, and puzzles. Most at home with a good book in her lap, curled up on the couch, with her dogs at her side, but could be found out and about antiquing or simply enjoying a coffee with Gary. Deborah will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Patricia Tunnel; grandparents, Ray & Inez Tunnell, Arthur & Vesta Kraft.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Gary Mullins; sons, Jason & Preston Mullins; brother, Marcus Tunnell; sister, Barbara Benton; sister-in-law, Diane Tunnell; nieces and nephews, Aaron, Val, and Blair; along with cousins and family.

She will be laid to rest Haven of Memories Memorial Park Cemetery in Canton, Texas.
