A service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, Bro. Mike Calhoun officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Diana was a woman who always knew her mind. She graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School in 1970 and knew she would marry the neighborhood boy she had known since they were 12 years old; her one true love, Dana Whitaker. The couple had 55 wonderful years together.
Diana always put family first. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Those are the titles she was proud of. Diana enjoyed quilting but her passion was cooking. She had designed the perfect A1 kitchen to cook for her family and friends. She cooked with love and was the best cook around. Diana’s family know they will see her again in heaven; until then will cherish the memories and love she showered them with through the years.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, James Maurice Camp and Edna Fern Price; brother, Donald Camp.
