Donnie grew up around Marshall. After serving in the US Army he became a truck driver. Donnie enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
Mr. Beaird is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Naomi Beaird; and his brother, James Edward Beaird.
Donnie is survived by his wife, Annie Beaird of Mineola; five sons and their wives: Donnie Beaird, Jr. and Dawn of Lindale, Roger and Sandy Beaird of Longview, Darrell and Jodi Beaird of New Harmony, Bradley Beaird of Mineola, and Michael and Cathy Beaird of Mineola; seventeen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Gene and Mary Beaird of Winnsboro, LA and Ronald Wayne and Tina Beaird of Terrell; aunt, Ruby Fisher of Marshall and an uncle, Dubb and Wanda Richardson of Hillsboro.
Interment was in Tarver Cemetery in the Whitton Community. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
