Dorothy A. Anderton, age 100, of Canton, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She had a blessing of a 100 years, born on December 7, 1924 in Eldorado, Texas to Horace Craig and Lillie Mae Craig.
Dorothy was baptist by faith and enjoyed sewing and gardening. She loved the song "Last Date" and it made her smile to hear it play. She loved her family and the Lord.
A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Haven of Memories Memorial Park, Canton, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Lillie Mae Craig; sons: Robert Lee Wootten and William Joseph Wootten; daughter, Dorothy Loise McMath; grandsons: Terry Don Wootten and Edward Fay McMath.
Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Peggy Mozingo and Darlene Clary; grandchildren: Bryan Wootten, Shannon Wootten, Craig Wootten, Julie Jones, Tonio Camacho, Shelly McMath, Dottie Bennett, Linda Williams, Sandy McMorrow, Gena Newcomb, Cara Lapaglia; numerous great grandchildren.
