

Dorphine passed away peacefully on December 18, 2022 in Mabank, Texas. She was born on September 30, 1930 in Richmond, Texas to Alvin J. Bowker and Pearl Bednarek Bowker.
Dorphine grew up in Sugarland, Texas and graduated from Pharr – San Juan Alamo High School. She was Baptist by faith and a longtime member of Landmark Baptist Church in Athens, Texas and currently a member of China Grove Baptist Church in Walton, Texas. Dorphine was a strong woman who at an early age took on the job of raising her sisters-in-law, Ruby and Hazel, when she was a new bride. She took the task to nurture and raise them; as she did with her own children as they came along. Dorphine took care of family. She enjoyed the role of homemaker and mother. Dorphine was an avid reader and enjoyed doing needlepoint in her free time. She enjoyed a long and beautiful life surrounded by family. Dorphine will live on the memories and hearts of all that knew and loved her.
Dorphine is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Pearl Bowker; husband, Ray Radicke; brothers, Daniel Bowker and Delano Bowker.
She is survived by her children: Patricia and Charlie Womble, Mark and Linda Radicke, Rebecca Radicke, Darryl Radicke and Donna Tumlinson; grandchildren, Christopher Radicke, John Radicke, Robert Womble, James and Alex Womble, Travis and Carlee Womble, Lisa Cravy; twelve great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Dulcie and John Bervinkle; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held one hour prior at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022 at funeral home.
Interment will be at Chinquapin Cemetery in Van Zandt County, Texas.
