Mrs. Plaster passed away May 11, 2021 in Tyler. She was born November 6, 1941 in Dallas to Edward Monroe and Odie Adams Carpenter.
Mrs. Plaster was a member of the Whitton Church of Christ. As a devout Christian, she knew she was going to Heaven. Jean loved to watch TV, especially John Wayne movies. She enjoyed shopping and loved to go to Big Lots to find deals. Jean loved keeping up with her family and friend on Facebook.
Mrs. Plaster is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Plaster; granddaughter, Christina Marie Forrest; and nine brothers and sisters: Hazel Gunnels, William Carpenter, “Maggie” Jones, Raymond Carpenter, Opal SpurgIn, Ruby Rowan, Johnny Carpenter, Joseph Carpenter and O.D. Carpenter.
Jean is survived by her son, Keith Plaster of Whitton; two daughters and their husbands: Kathy and Brad Davis of Wills Point and Kelly and Bubba Ragle of Emory; seven grandchildren: Renee Schaeffer, Amanda McGaitlin, James Gordon Ragle, III.; Jered Forrest, Jason Ragle, John Ragle and Jesse Ragle; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons: James Gordon Ragle, III., Jered Kyle Forrest, Jason Ian Ragle, John Wayne Ragle and Jesse Aaron Ragle.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday evening at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
