Evelyn Carol Fry

Carol passed away January 20, 2018, in Tyler. She was born June 7, 1947, in Dallas, to David Raymond and Vicki Williams Schupbach.

Carol was born and raised in Dallas and moved to Canton in 1973. She worked at Jewel's Restaurant for many years. She also owned her own T-shirt shop for a while. Carol was a member of the VFW and served as a former president of the Ladies' Auxiliary. She loved her kids, but dearly loved her grandkids. Carol enjoyed working Sudoku puzzles, playing bingo and bowling. She never met a stranger.

Carol is survived by her two sons: Mike and Debra Allman of Lewisville and Mark and Rhonda Allman of Antlers, Oklahoma; her daughter, Mindy and Lester Smith of Canton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; her mother, Vicki Schupbach of Pleasant Grove; bother David Clinton and Janice Schupbach of Plano; sister, Kim and Jeff Watson of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Schupbach.

Pallbearers will be Leslie Melton, Michael Allman, Dakota Smith and Monkey Guerrero.

Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
