Evelyn Rene Fincher

Evelyn passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side on October 12, 2021. She was born in Dallas, Texas, October 29, 1961, to David Livingston Lynn and Rosemary Vinsant Lynn. The first of five children,

Evelyn grew up in Dallas and graduated from Bryan Adams High School. On September 19, 1979 she married the love of her life, David Fincher. The couple had 43 wonderful years together. Evelyn loved the Lord and was Christian by faith. She and David enjoyed traveling, RV camping, and going to the beach. In her free time you could find her doing all kinds of crafts. She was very artistic and painted murals on the walls of the home, bringing love and warmth to her family. Evelyn was bigger than life, her smile would light up the room when she entered. Her pride and joy was her children and grandchildren. Evelyn loved her family and friends. She was the best kind of friend to have.

Those left to cherish Evelyn’s memory are her beloved husband, David Fincher; sons and daughters in-law, Matthew Ross and Meredith Fincher, Nicholas and Jessica Fincher; grandchildren, Ashlyn Fincher, Reagan Attaway and Avery Attaway; mother, Rosemary Lynn; sisters, Kim Harrison and Theresa Roundtree; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Debbie Lynn, Collin and DeeDee Lynn; a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Lynn.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery in Gladewater, Texas.
