Finnis Lee Gordon

Services for Finnis Lee Gordon, 77, of Canton, are scheduled for 10 am Thursday, June 15, 2017, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jerry Truett and Bro. David Yarbrough officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Interment will be in the Turner Cemetery in Emory.

Mr. Gordon passed away June 11, 2017 in Athens, TX. He was born May 2, 1940 in Emory to Homer Finnis and Vertis Onita Meek Gordon.

Mr. Gordon was a member of Brookside Baptist Church, the Hereford Cattle Association and the Union Local #745. He was a truck driver and farmer. Finnis Lee is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gene Edward Gordon; and a grandson, Corton Thomas Brown.

Finnis Lee is survived by his wife, Beth Gordon; daughter, Janis Lee Stanley; son, Farron Wayne Gordon; daughter, Tammie LeAnn Anderson; daughter, Terri Elaine Brown and Craig; daughter, Brenda Nell Rosemond and Larry; 13 Grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and their wives: Stanley and Pat Gordon and John and Mary Gordon; 2 sisters and their husbands: Sandra and Don Cowan and Mary and Mike Reed; uncle and aunt, Bob and Betty Meek; many cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
