Flora Mae Talley

Burial will be in Haven of Memories in Canton.

She passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014, in Tyler.

Ms. Talley was born March 29, 1944 to J.D. and Morene Thompson Wilson.

Flora joined the New Hope Baptist Church in Canton at an early age. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Canton. She enjoyed traveling. Flora was loved by all and many people called her “Aunt Flora Mae.”

Surviving are her son, Dale Talley, Jr.; 2 daughters: Gracie Talley and Oma Talley, all of Canton; 2 Brothers: Ronald Wilson of Canton and Thomas Wilson of Allen; 2 Sisters: Alice Perkins of Canton and Nelda Wilson of Desoto; 3 Sister-in-Laws: Rose Wilson, Lavearne Wilson and Brenda Wilson; 9 Grandchildren: Cedric Talley, Devon Talley, Shavon Talley, Del’Vonte Talley, Ke’Adric Nelson, Keanan Ivory, Mitchell (Scoota) Gilbert, Brittney Gilbert and Kenneth (Dude) Smith, Jr.; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Cedric James Eugene (C.J.)Talley and Saniyah Jade Trim; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins: Bobbie Nell Griffin and Linda Randle; and Special Friend, Eula Mitchell.

Flora was preceded in death by her Parents; 2 Brothers: Michael Tom and Donald Wilson; Sister, Emma Wilson; and Nephew, Kelvin Wilson.

Pallbearers are Alex Williams, Eddie Wayne Pickens, Jerry Shamlin, Jr., Gary Warren, Reggie Coffman and Charles Pickens.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
