Gaines Ted Huson Jr.

Services for Gaines Ted Huson, Jr., 49, of Van, are scheduled for 2 pm Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton, with Bro. Donnie Herring officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Springs Cemetery in Ben Wheeler.

Mr. Huson passed away at his home on December 7, 2016. He was born February 24, 1967 in Houma, Louisiana to Gaines Ted Huson Sr. and Jane Catherine Babin Huson.

Teddy served 2 years in the US Army. He had worked at the Wal Mart Distribution Center for the past 15 years. He enjoyed going kayaking with his son, fishing and spending time out doors.

Mr. Huson is preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Lola Fike; and an uncle, Chucky.

Teddy is survived by his mother, Jane Catherine Huson of Canton; wife, Lisa Harley Huson of Van; daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Alex Roblis of Shreveport; son, Elias Huson of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Karen Hammack of Edgewood; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Barry Deaver of Forney; son, Chris Wade Johnson, Jr. of Edgewood; daughter and son-in-law, Christal and Tony Koonce of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Angel and Justin Brown of Wills Point; daughter, Breanna and Jeremy Ming of Van; 2 sisters: Patricia and Mark Ranne of Canton and Connie Wilson of Ben Wheeler; 4 brothers: Michael, Brian, Kevin and Chris Huson, and Chris' wife, Holly, all of Canton; sister-in-law, Trena Harley Brand of Fruitvale; 10 grandchildren: Bryce and Tyler Hammack, Dylan and Ryder Johnson, Bailey, Kolten and Tommy Koonce, Kelso and Natalie Brown, and Shell-lee Ming; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Elias Huson, Brian Huson, Chris Huson, Kevin Huson, Michael Huson, Christopher Hammack and Chris Johnson, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Andy Cook.

Visitation will be 6-8 Saturday at the funeral home.
