Gary lived a full life. After high school he joined the Marines to serve his country. Later he was a farrier, he enjoyed time around the horses, and you could always find horseshoes hanging around. Gary spent over 50 years behind a windshield. He put miles driving nearly every state. On the road he always had a Dr. Pepper and his yorkie, Gracie by his side. He loved seeing the beauty in America. In his leisure time you could find Gary flying his remote-control planes, fishing, looking for that 12 pound bass, or on his Ham Radio, listening to a record from his massive record collection or setting up a date to go skydiving. Gary was a part of the “Sky Dive Dallas Club”. His love for skydiving was contagious; and now he flies with the angels.
Gary had a soft heart for cats and dogs. He was strong believer in neutering and spaying recuses and to always helping foster and care for strays; so in his honor and memory the family ask in lieu of flowers that you donate to a No Kill shelter of your choice.
