

Bud passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024 in Poynor, Texas. He was born on September 16, 1939 in Wills Point, Texas to Ernest Edwards and Arlou Crane Edwards.
Bud grew up in the Wills Point area and later in the Dallas area. He joined the National Guard at an early age and went on to serve in the Army and Air Force. He was proud of his time in the service. He attended the University of Texas earning a Bachelor in Engineering. Bud worked for GE for many years. He bought a beautiful piece of land near Poynor to retire on. He built a loving home and his own pond. There he could work in the yard, around the property and tend to the horses. Bud’s joy was large family and friend get togethers. A good glass of red wine and wonderful laughter made for the best memories. Bud enjoying traveling with his beloved wife, Annie; by ship, trains or car. They enjoyed the wonderful places in this country has to offer and the beauty of the land. Bud will be dearly missed but live on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Arlou Edwards; sisters, Pat Stratton and Brenda Wynn.
Bud is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Annie Edwards; children: Wayne Edwards, Peri Zuber and husband, Todd, Aura Lu Wilson and husband, Eddie, Michael Kellam and wife, Jamie, Jason Benson, Alix Morris and husband, Jeff; twelve grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, Tx from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024 prior to the service.
Interment will be at Myrtle Springs Cemetery in Wills Point, Texas.
