Junior was a member of the Promise Land C.M.E. Church of Canton, TX, and graduated from Canton High School. He enjoyed being around people and especially family and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed watching sports with the Dallas Cowboys being his favorite team. Junior enjoyed decorating with family especially around Christmas time. He enjoyed cooking, listening to all music. He always made time to put “Silver” (his car) on Shine. Junior was loved deeply by his family and many many friends.
Junior is survived by his mother, Levora Oudia Shamlin of Canton, TX., his father and step-mother, Henry Charles & Edna Shamlin, Sr. of Canton, TX., sister, Michelle Shamlin Richard of Canton, TX., two nephews, Justin Richard and Jaelon Richard both of Canton, TX., two step sisters, Jennifer Tennyson of Athens, TX., Kimberly Hicks of Canton, TX., a host of aunts, uncles and many many other relatives and friends.
Junior is preceded in death by his grandparents.
