Israel Montoya

was born on June 14, 1971, in Mexico City, Mexico to Heron Montoya and Ofelia Vega Montoya.

A visitation for Israel will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Eubank Funeral Home. A Rosary Mass will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., led by Juana Maria Perales.

A Celebration of Life service will start at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Pastor Mark Robinson, Pastor George Gonzalez, Pastor Reynaldo Ruiz to officiate.

Israel was born in Mexico City and grew up in Texas. He had a passionate and hard-working spirit. Israel enjoys a good soccer game, camping, raising his animals, especially his chicken Penelope and Sonic the duck! His biggest joy was spending time with his beloved wife and best friend of 31 years. Spending time with his children and grandchildren. The best days were always with family. Israel was always the life of the party. He loved to dance; his favorite song was called "La Bomba".

He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. Israel will be dearly

missed but his memories will live in the hearts of those who loved him.

Israel is preceded in death by his father, Heron Montoya.

Rodriguez; sons: Heron Montoya and wife, Alma; Israel Montoya Jr. and wife, Andrea;

Grandchildren: Alice Montoya, Gabriel Montoya, Angel Rodriguez, Elias Montoya; Mother, Ofelia Vega; Sister, Edna Raygoza and husband, Jaime; Brothers, Froylan Montoya and wife, Maria and Omar Montoya and wife, Araceli; a host of other dear family and friends.

Israel will be laid to rest at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, Texas.
