

A celebration of the life of JT Lemley, Jr, 78, will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at Eubank Funeral Home, with Dr. John Mark Robinson officiating. The family welcomes friends and family for visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m.
JT passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026. He was born in Three Rivers, Texas on July 17, 1947 to JT Lemley Sr. and Jessie Jo Blair. He was a member of Crossroads Church of Canton and a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army Air Cavalry division.
JT graduated from Wills Point High School. He met the love of his life, Carolyn, at the county fair, and they married after high school. JT joined the US army and served in the Vietnam War. He loved his country and was proud of his service. He and Carolyn lived in Canton and owned and operated Lemley’s Produce & Plants for the majority of their lives. He was famous for his ‘Lemley Tomatoes’ which he took great pride in growing at his farm in Canton. He made many friends and loyal customers at the Dallas Farmer’s Market and also ran his store at the farm in Canton. He was passionate about his farm, many loyal customers, friends and family.
JT was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn Lemley; mother, Jessie Jo Blair; father, JT Lemley Sr.; stepmother Windy Lemley; son, Kelly Lemley; sister, Patti Bourquin; brother in-law, Charles Bourquin; brother, Ronnie Lemley; brother, Jerry Wayne Lemley; and sister, Linda Kay Lemley.
JT is survived by daughter, Tracey Huff; granddaughters, Jayden Huff, Bryanna Huff and spouse John Grubb; sister, Sharon (Lemley) Mason; sister Lisa (Lemley) Bogle and spouse Lammoy Bogle; many nieces and nephews; a multitude of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Sheb Shaw, Brad Shaw, Charlie Bourquin II, Chad Bourquin, David Dorman and Dale Baugh.
