

Bob went home to the Lord on March 31, 2023 in Georgetown. He was born in Canton, Texas to Elza Ray Wright and Mary Lee Tawater Wright.
"Jamaica Bob", as he was fondly called by family and friends, grew up in Canton, Texas and graduated from Canton High School. In his younger years he was known as J. W. but his love of beach vacation and life on lake – he soon became "Jamaica Bob", or Bob for short. Bob was a fun loving and hardworking man. He was Baptist by faith, which helped him keep a positive attitude even when he became ill. He enjoyed boating and living on the lake. Bob was an unselfish man; he made sure his wife, Kathy, whom he had over 34 beautiful years together, had time for herself. Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elza and Mary Wright; 1st wife, Joanne Wright.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kathy Wright; son, Alan Dean Wright and wife, Cheryl; grandchildren, Kylie Sadler and husband, Patrick, Kasie Malone and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Brady Beierschmitt, Madden Malone, Parker Malone, Everly Sadler; siblings, Earl Wayne Wright and wife, Annalee, Betty Mae Robinson; mother in0-law, Nina Dean Robison; a host of other family and friends.
