Jack was born January 20, 1948, in Terrell, TX to James Edward Lewis and Mary Audrey David.
He passed away July 17, 2018 in Canton, TX.
Jack was a self taught welder. He opened a small fabrication business in Terrell in 1970 that quickly turned into a steel building corporation. After 20 years in the building business, he went back to smaller projects specializing in custom gates. It was during this time that he taught himself how to build rustic furniture and lamps. He was a gifted craftsman. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed raising bottle calves and horses, riding motorcycles and being "Pa" to his 9 grandkids.
Jack was a member of Round 'em Up Cowboy Church in Wills Point.
He is survived by his Best-friend and Caretaker, Carolyn Kaye Frazier; Daughter, Audrey and Robert Brewer; Daughter, Adriane and Sam Bacon; 9 Grandchildren; Sister, Sue Martin; and Dogs: Holly Berry, Sara Lewis, and Sister.
Jack is preceded in death by his Parents, James and Mary Lewis; and Son, James Lewis.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Campground Cemetery in Poetry, TX.
