Mr. Carlisle loved photography, life, God, his family and playing video games. One of his greatest joys on earth, other than being a Christian, was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. James also enjoyed working in his yard. His favorite Scripture was Ephesians 6:10-18, the whole armor of God.
James is preceded in death by his parents, James Felix and Erma Adgie Fife Carlisle. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Beatty; son, Jessie Walters and his wife, Angela; daughter, Jennifer Walters and her husband, Ricky Paslay; four grandchildren: Ethan Hill, Elizabeth Hill, Jalynne “Monkey” Paslay and Olivia “Ollie No No” Paslay.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
