Formerly from Columbus, Minnesota, he was preceded by his parents Bernard and Myrtle Smekofske, his brothers and sisters-in-law Gene and Nan Smekofske, Melvin and Monika Smekofske and Pat Smekofske
He will be greatly missed by his wife Chris, his brothers Kenneth (Emiley), Twin brother Gerald, Wayne (Diane) and his sister Joyce Smekofske, nieces and nephews, in-laws and his many friends.
There will be no funeral or service as per his wishes. He will be cremated so there is no burial.
