Mickey was born on May 12, 1971 in Okinawa, Japan on a military base to Carol Sue Seaton Gillean and
Leonard Max Gillean.
Mickey grew up in Canton, Texas and graduated from Paul Pewitt High School. He was a Baptist by faith
and loved life. Mickey was very active in sports all of his life, he attended Henderson State University and
played football. He enjoyed spending time with his kids and family, outdoors, four wheeling, scuba diving
and taking nature walks. He enjoyed teaching his kids how to dance inside of his shop and his favorite
place to be was the beach. Mickey was a big-hearted man that loved his family and friends. He will be
remembered in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.
Mickey is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Max Gillean; grandmothers, Lucille Gillean and Ida mae Seaton; grandfather, K. L. Gillean; step-father, Bill Shaw.
He is survived by his daughters: Caitlin Gillean and Cheyenne Wilburn and husband, Heston Wilburn;
son, Cory Max Gillean; grandson, Blaine Wilburn; mother, Carol Shaw; sister, Kim Gay; brother, Toby
Meeks.
