

Services for Jimmie Lee Starr, 83 of Wills Point are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Terrell with Bro. Robbie Caldwell and Bro. Buddy Sadler officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home in Canton. Graveside services will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.
She passed away on October 10, 2016 in Wills Point. Jimmie was born on June 5, 1933 to Harold Roland & Prudie Mae McCaffity Manley.
Jimmie loved the Lord and was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Terrell where she taught Sunday School to 3 year olds. She adored children and was the owner and operator of many daycare centers during her lifetime including Loving Care in Allen and Starr Treehouse in Terrell. She later became a top producing real estate agent.
Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jimmy Starr; grandson, Flame N. Starr; brothers, Ronald Manley and Richard Manley; sisters, Margaret Nesbitt and Melba Raz.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri and husband Danny Walker of Terrell; son, David and wife Beth Starr of Wills Point; son, Steve Starr of Elmo; son, Lynn and wife Rebecca Starr of Allen; grandchildren, James and Kim Starr, Brandy and Kenny Tombaugh, Benjamin and Brittny Starr, Chad Walker, Danielle Walker, Edward Graham, Matt Muela and Veronika Muela; great grandchildren, Gunner, Summer, Sam, Ross, Karly and Nevaeh; brothers, Roland and Robert Manley; and sister, Mildred Carter.
