Joe H. Cleaver

He passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, in Canton, TX.

Joe was born June 16, 1939, in Melton, OK. to William Roe and Elizabeth Lewis Cleaver.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, TX.

Joe was born in Oklahoma and moved to California at the age of six before settling in the Dallas area. In 1956, he married his precious wife, Barbara, and they began their life together. Joe was a hard worker and always seemed to have two jobs. He and Barbara moved to Van Zandt County in the late 1990's and enjoyed retirement and their hobbies of fishing and hunting. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canton. Joe was always willing to help others and was very well liked and highly respected.

He is survived by his Son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Tina Cleaver of Canton, Daughter Sheryl Strahan of DeSoto, TX, Granddaughter, Michelle Timmons of Frisco, TX, Grandson, L.J. Cleaver of Canton, Great Granddaughter, Abigail Timmons, Great Grandson, Kaden Timmons, Brother, Roe Cleaver and Sister, Marie Easterly.

Joe is preceded in death by his Parents and his wife, Barbara Jean Cleaver.

Visitation will be Sunday, October, 25, 2015, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
