

He was born on May 6th, 1946 in Terrell, TX to Marcus Glen and Christine Mills Foster.
Preceding him in death are his parents; his sister, Jean Dove and brother, Travis Foster.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Kimberlee; brother and sister-in-law Billy Glen and Betty Foster; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Angela Foster, daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Alan Tarrant, daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Jeff Knotts, daughter Ashlee Foster; grandchildren, Harrison Foster, Lindsey Foster, Amelia Foster, Carly Foster, Kyle and Roxanne Tarrant, Kevin Tarrant, Kory Tarrant, Meghan Johnston, Mason Knotts, Emma Knotts, and baby girl Knotts; great grandchild Jayden Tarrant.
Joe graduated from Canton High School and attended Southern Methodist University where he studied accounting. He served as a corporate treasure for Barns Lumber & Manufacturing in Dallas for 20 years. His entrepreneurial spirit then took over and he ran a successful sign company for many years. He returned to the accounting field with corporate positions at Burger Street and Wing Stop. He worked for the Burns, Stewart and Associates certified public accounting firm for the past couple of years.
His passion above all else was his family. There is nothing he wouldn’t and didn’t do for them. He loved his family outings and chatting on the patio with all of his friends and relatives. His sense of humor was a magnet for anyone who met him and he laughed until the end. He fought courageously until he could fight no longer, all for the family he loved so much.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.
