I was saddened to hear of Jon's passing He will be missed by many! He was fun to be around, making you smile or laugh from deep down. He was a gentle, caring, loving father, and always quick to assistant anyone who needed help or even do it himself. He spent many hours at Tree of Life Lutheran Church helping repair things, mowing the grounds, cooking food for church dinners. A hard working young man who loved people and loved Jesus. Dale and LaWanda, know that Jon is now in Jesus' loving arms, safe, no more pain , and smiling. Praying for comfort and peace for the Hunter Family.

This man was so hilarious! He never failed to crack me up. I loved being able to help him get his music going so he could jam! Rest easy brother!

Dear Hunter Family
You have my love and prayers , I understand the losing of a child as I stood with my parents when my youngest brother died many years ago. I loved Jon, we had become very good friends and I was showing him sign language, trying to help him communicate just a little bit better. Some of the signs don't fit their meaning and it would tickle Jon and he'd start laughing because the sign seemed funny to him; gr8 memories to have and to share with y'all. I'm not going to try to comfort y'all with the usual words of sympathy but know I'm praying the Heavenly Father will send that peace that passes all understand to comfort your hearts and minds in Jesus. Love Always Tammy

I'm so glad I got to know Jon and your whole family. He was very blessed and very loved by you all. He was defiantly the bright spot of my day many days and I loved his stubbornness and his humor. He will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always think of him every time I use soy sauce or eat a miniature peanut butter cups. I wish a bright future full of light and love for his boys and God to grace you with peace in your heart to fill the void he is leaving.
