

Judy Carol Wise, 78, of Canton, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 11, 2025, and is now reunited with her beloved husband, Albert. She was born on January 3, 1947, in California to Horace and Laura Mitchell.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, November 17, 2025, followed by a service celebrating her life at 10:00 am at Eubank Funeral Home, Bro. Randy Crudgington officiating.
Judy grew up in Brownsboro, Texas and graduated from Brownsboro High School. Judy met her future husband, Albert Wise, in Athens when they both worked for Curtis Mathis. On August 5, 1967, she married her one true love, Albert. The couple built a wonderful life and were blessed with two children.
Judy was a long time and active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Judy was a devoted wife and mother. Judy was a kind and patience woman, supporting her husband and children in all that they did. Taking care of her family brought her joy. In quiet moments she enjoyed doing crosswords or Sudoku puzzles.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Laura Mitchell; husband, Albert Wise; one brother and two sisters.
Judy is survived by her children: Jeffrey Wise and Kristie Wilhite; granddaughters: Jessica Melton and husband, Zach, Haley Lee; great grandchildren: Emory Killingsworth, Carson Melton and Madelynn Melton; sister in-law, Sherry Essman; many nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.
Judy will be laid to rest at Four Mile Lutheran Cemetery in Van Zandt County, Texas.
