June Christine Romeo

Heaven gained another angel - June Christine Romeo, 58, of Krum, Texas passed away peacefully in Canton, Texas on November 17, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1966, in Queens, New York to Alan Romeo and Lynn Cato Pedrick. She is now dancing in the sky with her sister and brother.

June was a spitfire of a lady. She grew up in New York and came to Texas as a teenager. June loved life. She was outgoing and the best friend to have around. June’s pride and joy after her daughter and grandsons was her blue Mustang! Driving brought joy to June; the destination was Winstar World Casino to gamble and enjoy the drive. When she was not at the casino, June was often crafting furniture or decorations; a skill taught to her by her grandfather. June enjoyed a good day of fishing and relaxing, but the best day was spent with her family and bestest friend, Laurie. Laughter followed June anywhere she went.

June is survived by her parents, Alan Romeo and Lynn Pedrick; daughter, Madison Splawn; grandchildren: Kordell, Kasiah, Krew and Kairo Turner; father of her child, Illie Splawn; best friend, Laurie Garrett; and many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Romeo; brother, John Romeo.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
