Mrs. Russell passed away November 6, 2025 in Mesquite, TX. She was born September 14, 1938 in Canton, TX to Robert Davis January and Nannie Blanche Hubbard January.
Kaleta lived most of her life in Mesquite, where she was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. She worked at A&P, Safeway and then Minyards. Kaleta enjoyed traveling, especially with her church friends. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
Kaleta is survived by her daughter, Frita and Carl Blankenship; son, Marty and Tammy Russell; four grandchildren: Nicholas and Greta Blankenship, Amy and James Offer, Rance Russell, and Kelsey Russell; three great-grandchildren: Kaylynn Offer, Brandon Offer and Mark Blankenship. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Blanche January; and her sister, Zona Stanbery.
