Kenneth Wright Corry

Ken passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Irving, TX.

He was born March 6, 1926 in Dallas, TX to James Marvin & Fannie Bell Corry.

Ken grew up in Lancaster where he attended school. After school, he joined the Navy and served in the Pacific during WWII. Ken later went to work for SWB, where he retired in 1989 after 39 years of service. He married Catherine Richter and they settled in Longview for several years. Ken had a love for opera and enjoyed boating, traveling, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his Granddaughter, Trinka & Ken King; Grandson, Craig & Christina Bowen; Granddaughter, Christina & Chris Donnelly; 5 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; along with several Nieces & Nephews.

Ken is preceded in death by his Parents, James Marvin & Fannie Bell Corry; Wife, Catherine Ann Corry; Wife, Gerry Corry; Daughter, Carla & Sam Smith; Grandson, Kyle King; Grandson, Nicholas Bowen; Brother, James Corry; and Sister Frances Ruth Luscomb.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, TX.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
