La Precia was born on April 1, 1945, in Graham, Texas, to Charles M. Brown and Pollyanna Brown. She was raised in Big Spring, Texas. She married the love of her life, George L. Adams, in 1964 and they were happily married for almost 58 years. They raised one daughter, Rebecca (Becky), and welcomed a "bonus" son, her husband, Mark Thompson, in 1984. La Precia was a homemaker and worked periodically as a substitute school teacher. She enjoyed arts and crafts and reading her Bible.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing her beloved husband, George; her daughter and son-in-law, Becky Thompson and Mark of Edgewood; brother and sister-in-law, Ron Brown and Linda of Farmersville; her companion pup, Little Joe; and her niece, nephews and friends.
La Precia is preceded in death by her parents, and an infant son, Howard L. Adams.
A funeral service will be held 3 pm Monday, July 18, 2022, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
