A gathering to celebrate the life of Lanesha Elaine Courtney, 49, of Canton, Texas, will be at 4:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27,2021. Bro. Randy Sadler officiating.
Lanesha passed away on October 21, 2021. She was born on December 10. 1971 in Garland, Texas to Charles Blackwell and Raenell Varner Blackwell.
Lanesha grew up in the Garland area. She was married to her beloved husband, Nathan Courtney, for six beautiful years. Lanesha enjoyed going on cruises, planning them was just as fun as the actual trips. Lanesha was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her best day was a day with all her children and grandchildren spending the day together. Lanesha loved her family, her dog, Booger and cat, Lelo. Family was everything to her. Lanesha leaves an empty place in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Raenell Blackwell.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Nathan Courtney; children, Stetson Gage (Rebecca), Bryce Allen Gage, Eryn Elaine Toliver (Jayden), Sierra Cheyenne Lance; numerous grandchildren; sister, Linda McPherson; brother, Thomas Blackwell; best friend, Janet Wage; a host of nieces, nephews, other and family and friends.
