Lois Marie Skinner

Services for Lois Marie Skinner, 79, of Ben Wheeler, are scheduled for 2 pm Monday, April 27, 2016, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel with Bro. Byron Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Starr Cemetery.

Mrs. Skinner passed away April 25, 2015, at her home. She was born January 23, 1936 in Sulphur Springs, TX to Samuel Luther and Effie Mae Killibrew Cockrum.

Mrs. Skinner was a Christian by faith. Lois was a very giving person who loved playing Bingo, shopping, going out to eat and window watching. She had lived in Ben Wheeler for the past 32 years. Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Skinner; son, Otis Allen Parker; daughter, Dorris Ann Dudley; her parents; 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Lois is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Sandy Skinner of Ben Wheeler; her four daughters and their husbands: Linda and Sonny Eubanks of Ben Wheeler, Jenny Farmer of Garland, Joyce and Danny Smith of Ben Wheeler, and Becky and Robert Crain of Wichita Falls; daughter-in-law, Sheila Parker; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Brewer of Anna, TX; and her loving dog, Trixie.

Pallbearers are Daniel Kranning, Ben Dudley, Taylor Ammons, Lance Eubanks, Danny Smith and Curtis Smith.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Sunday.
