Don passed away March 1, 2016 in Ben Wheeler.
He was born February 3, 1939 in Ft. Worth, TX to Curtis & Lorene McDow Bass.
Don grew up in Ben Wheeler and graduated from Van High School before attending East Texas State College in Commerce. He was very down to earth and enjoyed sports, running, and being outdoors. Don had a strong love for his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his Daughter, Tracy & Kirk Heaton, Daughter, Amy & Reyn Cloud, Son, Brandon & Meryl Bass, 8 Grandchildren, Morgan, Tyler, Dylan, Evan, Andrew, Breynlee, Aubrey, and Emma.
Don is preceded in death by his Parents, Curtis Ruben Bass & Lorene McDow Bass, Sister, Peggy Clack, and Sister, Betty Chisholm.
