Graveside services for Marion William Kline, 85, of Ben Wheeler, are scheduled for 3 pm Friday, May 19, 2017 at Haven of Memories with Bro. Steve Glosup officiating under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton, TX.
Mr. Kline passed away May 16, 2017 in Tyler. He was born February 4, 1932 in Seneca, Oregon to Harold Leith and Glenna Margaret Williams Kline.
Marion was a Christian by faith. He grew up in Oregon. He served in the US Navy for 3 years. Mr. Kline was a meteorologist on the flagship for the fleet. Marion started his family while serving in the Navy. After receiving his honorable discharge, he began working for GTE and retired after a 40 year career. After retirement he worked as a volunteer at the police station and library for 10 years.
Mr. Kline is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred Kline; daughter, Debra Ann Kline; and eight brothers and sisters.
Marion is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Donna Kline of Ben Wheeler; son, Bruce A. Kline of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
