July 11,1977 - August 18, 2026.
Mark passed away at his home in Canton, Texas, where he was raised.
Mark is survived by his parents, David Kaseman (Lincoln, NE), Mary Lisa Kaseman (Canton, Texas), stepmother Ann Kaseman (Lincoln, NE), brother Scott Kaseman and partner Julie Ziemendorf (Santa Fe, NM), and half siblings Rin and Mateo Kaseman (Lincoln, NE). He also has extended family in Royal, Iowa which is a place that always held an important spot in his heart.
Mark was born in Dallas and spent his childhood both in Dallas and Canton. From a young age he knew how to light up a room, make something good out of a challenge, and support others when they were in a rough spot or just needed a friend.
He always enjoyed travel and had the opportunity in his early 20’s to explore Europe extensively which was a trip that influenced his perspective on the world and experiences for the rest of his life. He also loved his motorcycle, music concerts, his family, being out on the ranch, but most of all he loved being with his close friends and community in Canton.
Mark worked in the auto industry and also owned MKaseman Trucking LLC. He took great pride in his big truck and life on the road. He also owned Kase Land Management which involved bush hogging and clearing land.
Everyone Mark knew loved him for his sense of humor and generosity. His decision to move back to Canton was made from his commitment to support his mother and making sure she could stay in the place she has called home. He was also a member of and baptized in the Methodist Church in Canton, showing his commitment to the town.
Mark led with his heart. He went out of his way to be helpful in caring for others. His passing was sudden and untimely but his impact on his family and everyone who knew him will carry on in all of our hearts forever.
