Martha Ann Gillispie

She passed away February 28, 2015 in Canton, TX.

Martha was born April 18, 1930 in Atlanta, TX, to Thomas and Janie Wall.

Interment will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.

Martha was a Christian by faith and raised in the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco. She was an avid Cowboys fan and enjoyed reading, traveling, taking pictures, and gardening. Martha was a great cook, especially when it came to sourdough bread. She loved spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her Husband, Louis Gillispie, Daughter, Sharon Daugherty Armstrong, Daughter, Debbie Daugherty, 3 Granddaughters, Janine Green, Kimberly Shykes, Robin Elliott, 7 Great Grandchildren, Ashlee, Stephen, Michael, Haylee, Katlyn, Garrett, Breana, Great Great Grandson, Kayden, Sister, Thelmarie Wilhite, Brother, Casey & Cay Wall, Brother, Kenneth & Sally Wall.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Johnie Daugherty, Sister, Tommie Jean, and Son in Law, J.W. Armstrong.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco.
