

Marvin Leroy Denbow, Jr., went home to the Lord on September 1, 2024 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on November 11, 1937 in Van Zandt County, Texas to Marvin Leroy Denbow, Sr., and Jesse Mae Mason. Marvin grew up in the Dallas area. He proudly served his country in the US Navy. Marvin saw the world on the high sea. He married his one true love, Nell “Pud” Glover, in 1956. The couple had 54 beautiful years together at her passing in 2012. Together they raised their three children, and always felt the love of their family.
Marvin was a proud dad and grandfather. The best days were days at the lake house, fishing and enjoying family and friends. He was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. Marvin will be dearly missed, but lives on in the hearts and memories of all that knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin, Sr. and Jesse Mae Denbow; beloved wife, Nell “Pud” Denbow; sisters, Eva Nell and Betty; brother, Billy.
Marvin is survived by his children: Diana Lynn Denbow, Darron Denbow, Sr. and wife Claudia; Roy Denbow, Sr. and wife Maria; grandchildren: Jessica Ochoa Cranford and husband, Sean Cranford, Aaron Ochoa, Darron Denbow, Jr., Kristin Denbow Shenenan and husband Jack, Colby Denbow, Danielle Clark, and husband Cole, Coale Anders, Lindsey Denbow Tinsley and husband (Frenchy) Thomas, Roy Denbow, Jr. and wife, Meghan, Garrett Denbow and Sarah; 12 great-grandchildren; Brothers, Michael Denbow and wife, Gwen and Tommy Denbow and wife, Nita; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will hold a Celebration of Marvin’s life at a later date.
