Mrs. Eblen passed away September 2, 2026 in Canton. She was born November 3, 1935 in Vernon, TX to James and Willie Davis Condon.
Mary Ann was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Canton for many years. She was a founding member of the Crawford House at First UMC. Mrs. Eblen earned her Bachelor's Degree from West Texas State University in Canyon, TX. She was a school teacher for 40 years, with 25 of those at Canton ISD, where she primarily taught 2nd grade.
Mrs. Eblen is preceded in death by her parents, James and Willie Condon; husband, Bill Eblen; two sisters: Johnie Watson and Patsy Condon; and her beloved labradoodle, Georgia.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nanette and Peter Beery; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Aquila Eblen; son, James Eblen; five grandchildren: Michael, Elizabeth, Katie, Naomi and Christina; two great-grandchildren: Sloane and Quinn; and two sisters: Kathy Plumb and Jimmie Martin.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday, September 14, 2026, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
