Mary passed away March 8, 2016 in Wylie, TX.
She was born December 23, 1928 in Canton to Maston Luther & Mary Ola Bussey Morris.
Mary grew up in Canton where she attended school. She married Bill Hunt and they moved to Dallas in the 1940’s to raise their family. Mary loved listening to music, watching westerns and soap operas, writing letters, and cooking for her friends and family. She was a deeply faithful woman who loved the Lord. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ.
Mary is survived by her Son, Bill & Kristi Hunt of Murphey, TX, 7 Grandchildren, Ricky Bishop, Larry Bishop, Robert Whitley, Donald Whitley, Tammy Black, Cole Hunt, & Taylor Hunt, and several Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Bill Hunt, Daughters, Janette Bishop & Mary Jean Muntz, Granddaughter, Luvena Hunt, Grandson, Kenneth Whitley, and 5 Brothers & Sisters.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Canton.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
