Don was born on 12/1/25 to Dewey Roscoe and Vera Barber Bass. He grew up in Martin’s Mill where he met and married Connie Phillips, the love of his life.
They were married almost 65 years. He served his country in WW2, graduated from SMU with honors and obtained his CPA license. Don and Connie soon started a family – they had four daughters. He worked very hard to provide for his family and became a successful and very well respected real estate developer. He loved spending time with his family and large circle of friends.
Don is preceded in death by his wife Connie, his beloved daughter Betty Bass Moore, his parents, brothers Wayne and Felix, and sister Sue.
He is survived by his daughters Becky Bass Escobar, Cathy Bass and Jim Latta, Debby Bass and Patty Renfro, son-in-law John Moore; grandchildren Meredith, Joseph, Anna, Abraham, Jesse, Lainey, Katie and Ben; great grandchildren Alice, Dakota and Jason, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 and the funeral service is on Friday at 10 AM at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
Interment will be at Holly Springs Cemetery in Martin’s Mill.
