Michael Norman Evans

Services for Michael Norman Evans, 51, of Arlington, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton, TX. Interment will be in Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.For those who cannot make it to the Canton service, please join us for a Celebration of Life Ceremony for Michael Evans on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. The memorial service will take place in the Interfaith Peace Chapel on the Cathedral of Hope campus at 5910 Cedar Springs Rd, Dallas, TX 75235.

Michael passed away on January 9, 2017, at his home in Arlington, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Michael was born on March 1, 1965, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Donald and Freda McMichael Evans. Michael graduated from Irving High School in 1983, and was a proud member of the IHS Tiger band. He earned a BA in Marketing from UT Arlington, and worked for American Airlines for 27 years. He began his career selling and booking domestic travel, and went on to supervise customer service. His passion was tariff and pricing, and his last role at American was quality assurance for aa.com.

He is preceded in death by his Parents. Michael is survived by his loving and devoted partner of 22 years, Joseph Keith Boone of Arlington, TX; nieces Alisha Evans and Stephanie; and Sister-in-law, Anita Evans. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Chi Chi, Danny, and Molly. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to UT Southwestern, where Mike received excellent care.
