Michael Scott Miller

From the day he was born, Thursday, February 4, 1971, Michael Scott Miller was on a mission. He was only a toddler when he aspired to be a fireman and created a building to climb in the garage. He conquered the football field and earned an MVP trophy for leading his team through an undefeated season. Building Chevy monster trucks bigger and better or testing his motor rebuilding skills by working on one all week just to blow it up on the weekend, was child's play to him in his teens.

Adulthood had Mike running marathons and racing bicycles until he accomplished his 100 mile "Hotter than Hell". Working for the Trinity River Authority was a long term accomplishment that he excelled in for 30 years. He put his intelligence to work and was rewarded for his efforts in varied ways only to realize he wasn't made out for a desk job and that he hated firing people so, he opted to go back into the field where he enjoyed working with the guys out in the fresh Texas air.

One such mission led him to meet the love of his life, Cornelia. For 20 years he shared happiness and love with the apple of his eye. Together they traveled and enjoyed exploring God's creation through Germany, Europe and different states. Mike and Cornelia shared their hearts, their souls and devotion to one another in a quiet love that radiated wherever they were together.

On Thursday, July 23, 2026, Mike accomplished his greatest mission. After 41 years of walking with Jesus Christ, Mike had made the complete transformation required to enter Heaven as the Saint that God created him to be. Peacefully at home with the love of his life, he bravely entered into eternity with Jesus with extreme strength and courage.
