Mike McBride

Mike passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, in Tyler, TX.

He was born March 12, 1948, in Wills Point to Grady Wendell McBride and Amy Ruth Wade McBride.

Mike grew up in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1967. He was very active in sports. He played football, basketball, ran track and field throughout high school. As an adult, Mike was an avid golfer and enjoyed billiards. He married Ronda Thorn July 2, 2002, and they moved to Canton in 2017. When he was not playing golf, Mike enjoyed riding his tractor and working on his house making any improvements he could. Mike loved his family and friends, especially his dogs, Peppy and Mitzie.

He is survived by his Wife, Ronda McBride; Son, Shawn and Robin McBride; Daughter, Cara and Scott Calder; Step Son, Brad Freisner; Grandsons: Dalton McBride and Ryan McBride; Brothers: Tony and Mary McBride and Pat and Penny McBride; Nephew, Shannon McBride; and Nieces: Chrissy Rabussa and Melissa Alvarado.

Mike is preceded in death by his Parents, Grady and Amy McBride; and Mitzie.

Interment will be at Haven of Memories in Canton, TX.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
