Our wonderful Nicholas Alexander Wayne gained his angel wings. He was born to us as a blessing of a whirlwind and the best chaos contained in little boy form on February 19, 2020. He runs with joy in the halls of heaven now.
Nicholas was our “wildest thing”, who loved the outdoors and animals. He cuddled and spent his days playing with the goats, ponies, kittens and all the farm animals. They loved him back, following him around everywhere. (Except for the geese who knew chaos when they saw it, birds of a feather, really.) Nicholas was smart and funny. He enjoyed time playing with his brother, Ben, his biggest brother, Harley, and his newly claimed, if unrelated buddy/brother Robert and his imaginary "best girl, Ally”. Nicholas loved building and taking apart things. Orange was his favorite color, rainbow was his second. (Please feel welcome to appreciate the irony that rainbow means more orange, he loved good jokes.) He was a collector of rocks and many "treasures".
He could create fun anywhere, for anyone. Nicholas was a little boy with the biggest heart.
Those here on earth to continue to keep his memory alive include almost too many to list, but list a portion we shall: his parents, David and Ashley Wayne; brother, David “Ben” Wayne; brother, Harley David Wayne; grandparents: Annelle Johnson, Holly and Ethan Jones; bonus grandmother, Deborah Wilcox; great-grandmother, Patsy (Gi-Gi) Johnson; aunt and uncle, Elyssa and Christian Kvapil, their children, Rohan and Sophia Kvapil; mother's cousin, Jessica Harkins, her children Joyce and Jaxon Harkins; bonus aunt and uncle, Alexandria and Josh Smith, their children, Adrian and Maggie Smith; along with many other family and friends.
Those among the number to greet him at the gates are too many to list, but two of the first at the gates: Great-grandfather, Dr. Ben Johnson; Great-grandfather, Kenneth Davis, among a full legion of family, and friends who will fill every moment of the time he waits for his loved ones and friends to join him in the next life.
He will be forever missed, forever loved, forever celebrated.
