Patricia Bradley Knight went to be with our Lord June 18, 2024. She was born in Kansas City Missouri on May 2, 1935. She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Bradley, mother Freda Heck, her brother Jerry Bradley & loving husband of 50+ years Gerald Knight.
She was a very beautiful woman inside & out. She moved to Texas in 1966 when her husband was transferred from US Steel in Kansas City to the plant in Garland TX. She worked at Rockwell International from 1967-2002. She and Gerald built a home in Plano TX, but moved to Canton TX in 1973 when Gerald bought property. She was not brought up a country girl, but the peace of living outside the city was worth it, especially since they commuted from Canton to Garland/Richardson for 29 years. Upon retirement she enjoyed reading, playing games on her computer & assisting with care of her granddaughter. She was a long standing member of the Canton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Janice Baskin and husband Steve, son Scott Knight and wife Rhonda, granddaughter Brittany Leonard Sullivan and husband Chase and 1 great-granddaughter Lucy Trevino.
Her 5 year battle with Alzheimer’s was extremely difficult. We thank the memory care facility Arabella in Athens for the love & support they provided during her stay & the South Place Rehab & Nursing facility for a year prior to her passing. There will be a graveside service at a later date for family & close friends.
